Surfaces & applications
Textile finishing; footwear fabrics; upholstered furniture; seat covers; tablecloths and compatible leather surfaces
Repellency for textile surfaces
The treatment reduces wetting and contamination on compatible textiles. It is intended for applications such as footwear fabrics, upholstery, seat covers and tablecloths where spill resistance and ease of care matter. A repellent finish does not make seams, zips or an entire assembled item watertight.

Dilute the concentrate before use
Use a product-to-purified-water ratio of 1:10. Mix evenly and trial the diluted treatment on a representative piece of fabric. Check liquid uptake, colour change, touch, drying and the required repellent effect before treating finished goods.
Fibre and fabric selection
Listed substrates include nylon, polyester, acetate, viscose, acrylic and polyurethane/spandex textiles, with suitable leather applications also shown. Fibre type, dyes, prior finishes and fabric construction affect uptake and performance. Evaluate the finished fabric rather than relying on fibre name alone.
Air drying and fabric feel
Allow the treated article to dry thoroughly with good ventilation before evaluating repellency or packing it. Breathability and the original fabric feel are important selection criteria alongside water beading. Use consistent application across the full surface to avoid uneven performance.
Care and repeat-use testing
The treatment is presented as wash-resistant, but durability depends on the fabric, treatment level and cleaning routine. For commercial finishing, evaluate repellency after the intended laundering or cleaning cycle. Keep concentrate sealed in a cool, dry place and use within the stated shelf life.

Application process
From surface preparation to performance
- 01
Check the textile
Start with clean fabric free from residues that could interfere with treatment. Test a concealed area for colour and feel.
- 02
Dilute 1:10
Mix one part concentrate with ten parts purified water and stir evenly.
- 03
Treat consistently
Apply the diluted treatment evenly using a method suited to the article. Avoid patchy coverage and excessive local soaking.
- 04
Air-dry and evaluate
Let the fabric dry completely, then evaluate water beading, appearance, feel and performance after the intended care cycle.

Frequently asked questions
Is the supplied product ready to use?
It is a concentrate. The stated dilution is one part product to ten parts purified water.
Does it create a waterproof garment?
It adds surface repellency. Seams, fabric construction and garment design also determine waterproof performance.
Can I use it on an already finished fabric?
Trial it first. Existing finishes, dyes and contamination can change absorption, colour and repellent performance.
