Surfaces & applications
Selective electroplating and anodizing; PCB contact masking; localized protection of metal components
Selective masking for precision work
Apply only to the areas that need temporary protection, including contact areas, local metal features and boundaries around processing zones. The blue colour makes coverage visible, while a continuous perimeter helps prevent process liquid from reaching the protected area.

UV curing in a production line
The illustrated curing process uses 365–395 nm light and shows film formation in 5–8 seconds. Treat this as a process reference: lamp output, distance, film thickness, shadowed areas and substrate geometry change the energy reaching the coating. Validate the cure throughout the masked area, not just on the top surface.
Tough film, low shrinkage and peeling
A coherent cured film helps retain edge coverage and supports removal in a sheet. After the protected operation, start at an accessible edge and peel at a steady angle. Trial the complete sequence on the intended substrate, including processing exposure and the planned waiting time before removal.
Electroplating and anodizing protection
The coating is offered for selective protection during metal finishing, including electroplating and anodizing. Match the mask to the actual chemistry, operating temperature and contact time. Thoroughly inspect sealed edges and any small recesses before putting parts into the process.
Select the dispensing format
Small containers suit localized dispensing and trials; larger containers support repeated production work. Share the part size, masking area, UV equipment and expected consumption so the pack and dispensing method can be matched to the line. Keep uncured material protected from UV light during handling.

Application process
Protection through the complete cycle
- 01
Clean the part
Remove dust, oils and process residues, then dry the selected masking area.
- 02
Define the mask
Dispense a continuous layer across the intended area and seal the perimeter. Keep areas that must remain exposed clear.
- 03
UV cure
Expose with suitable UV equipment. Check complete curing, including edges and recessed features, before processing.
- 04
Process and peel
Complete the protected operation, then lift and peel the film. Inspect the substrate for cleanliness and finish quality.

Frequently asked questions
Does this coating air-dry like a water-based peelable paint?
It is a UV-curable product. A suitable UV source and an established curing process are needed.
Is 5–8 seconds guaranteed for every part?
No. It is the illustrated reference cycle. The necessary exposure depends on light output, distance, film build and the geometry of the part.
Is it a permanent bonding adhesive?
This product is selected for a removable protective mask. Choose it according to protection and peeling performance, rather than permanent bond strength.
