White pail with blue lid containing water-based peelable protective paint
Peelable Protective Coatings for Renovation
Water-Based Acid- and Alkali-Resistant Peelable Protective Paint
A water-based temporary protective paint that forms a continuous, removable film on glass, smooth metal, suitable plastics and finished furniture. The film combines resistance to handling scratches with acid and alkali resistance for selected processing and renovation work.

Surfaces & applications
Glass and window frames; finished furniture; stainless steel and aluminium components; selective processing masks
Continuous protection around frames and edges
Liquid application follows frame profiles, corners and shaped components without the seams of cut sheet film. The dry film can be lifted from an edge and peeled away after the protected operation. Cover adjoining surfaces evenly and leave an accessible starting edge for removal.

Glass, furniture and metal processing
Use on suitable glass, stainless steel, aluminium alloys, plastics and finished furniture. The coating can provide selective masking for electroplating or anodizing processes and protection against processing contamination. Check the exact bath chemistry, contact time and substrate finish on a representative sample before production.
Resistance with controlled removability
The film is designed to balance adhesion during use with removal afterwards. A continuous layer is important: thin edges, sharp corners and pinholes can expose the underlying surface. Inspect the dried coating before handling or chemical exposure and repair missed areas.
Drying and water contact
Keep the freshly coated surface away from water until the film has dried. Air drying suits work that cannot enter a heated drying line; the documented low-temperature drying option is 60°C for 10–40 minutes. Actual drying depends on film build, ventilation and part geometry.
Colour and storage
Colour matching helps distinguish protected areas from exposed surfaces. Store the unopened coating above freezing, away from direct sunlight. Keep lids closed between uses and avoid contaminating the remaining paint with dirty tools or used material.

Application process
Protection through the complete cycle
- 01
Prepare the surface
Remove dust, grease and rust. The surface must be clean and dry; test on an inconspicuous area of painted furniture or plastics.
- 02
Mix and apply
Stir thoroughly. Apply by brush, roller or spray; for spraying, use clean water to adjust viscosity within the recommended dilution range.
- 03
Dry and inspect
Allow the film to dry fully. Inspect edges, recesses and the complete protected area before the next process.
- 04
Remove the protection
After processing, lift an edge and peel steadily. Check the finished surface and confirm removal behaviour before adopting the process for a full batch.

From evaluation to supply
Start with a sample.
Free samples are available; the customer pays freight. Order quantities depend on the product and pack format, with flexible starting quantities discussed with sales. Typical lead time is 10–20 days after order details are confirmed. OEM and private-label requirements can be discussed with the product specification.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a permanent finish?
No. It is a temporary barrier intended to be removed when protection is no longer needed.
Can it be used in every acid or alkaline bath?
Chemical resistance depends on the chemical, concentration, temperature and exposure time. Trial the actual process; acid and alkali resistance does not mean unlimited immersion resistance.
Can I choose a colour?
Yes. Custom colours and 1, 5, 20 and 50 kg pack options are available.
