A removable coating that gives compatible glass a frosted or coloured appearance. It supports temporary privacy, decorative partition work and construction-period screening while retaining the option to remove the coating.

A removable frosted coating changes the appearance of glass without replacing the pane. It can suit temporary privacy, decorative areas and changes to an interior layout. Judge the effect on the actual glass, since thickness, tint, surface treatment and existing coatings can change the result. Compare the view from both sides with daylight and artificial light, including the direction in which privacy is most important.
Build the effect in thin coats
The selected product uses two or three thin coats with approximately 2–3 hours between coats. Keep application even across the pane and treat natural boundaries consistently. Heavy local application can create uneven translucency, runs or a different surface appearance. Mask surrounding frames and any areas that should stay clear, and check the coated sample against the desired visual effect before treating multiple panes.
Removal and purchasing details
Trial removal on the specific glass finish and check for residual film at frame edges. Provide glass type, pane dimensions, desired privacy, indoor conditions and the planned duration of use. Include whether the glass carries an existing applied film or treatment. The coating's 12-month shelf life makes stock rotation relevant for installers holding material across several projects.
