The clear protective spray is a 450 ml, semi-matt, solvent-based modified-alkyd film for compatible furniture and tabletop finishes. The liquid furniture protection product comes in 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg packs for broader areas or repeated workshop work. Select the format around component size, access and available equipment, while checking each formulation on the existing finish.
Original finish compatibility comes first
Lacquer, varnish, painted finishes and laminates can differ in their response to a temporary coating. Test colour, gloss and adhesion, then remove the film after the intended protection period. Include newly finished or repaired areas in a separate trial. A clear or semi-matt protective layer can change the appearance while present, so agree whether transparency or a particular temporary finish matters during display or delivery.
Build drying into the packing sequence
The liquid furniture coating lists 20–30 minutes surface drying and 40–60 minutes film formation, with assisted drying no higher than 50°C. Avoid application below 10°C; the spray-equipment guidance specifies a nozzle of at least 2 mm. The reference coverage is about 8 m²/kg at 0.1 mm wet film. Check readiness before wrapping, because packing pressure and contact can change how a partially dried film behaves.
Order for a repeatable handling process
For the aerosol, the listed carton contains 24 cans and measures 41 × 27.8 × 20.5 cm. The shelf-life reference is three years. Include finished surface type, item area, pack contact, stacking pressure and storage duration in the trial. Add cushioning and corner protection wherever impact or compression is expected, and inspect after both unpacking and peeling.
