Surfaces & applications
Finished wooden furniture, tabletops and selected decorative surfaces where preserving the underlying appearance is important.
Clear spray film for furniture and tabletops
The aerosol applies a removable layer over compatible furniture finishes and other prepared surfaces. The transparent, semi-matt version is suited to projects where the original decorative surface should remain visible. It is described for protection against moisture, dust and everyday surface contamination, with the actual colour and gloss effect checked on the finished item.

Application around edges and detailed shapes
Spraying allows access around contours and recessed details that may be awkward to cover with a sheet. Work with thin, even passes and avoid wet build-up at edges. The product is a solvent-based modified-alkyd aerosol, so existing lacquer, soft plastic and other sensitive surfaces need a concealed compatibility trial before the full piece is treated.
Appearance and decorative options
A transparent coating can still change gloss, deepen a colour or make an uneven substrate more visible. Compare treated and untreated areas under normal lighting. Beside the standard clear finish, black, white, grey, red, blue, green and yellow may be discussed for a custom supply arrangement. Agree the actual sample appearance before a colour-sensitive order.

Application process
Protection through the complete cycle
- 01
Prepare and trial
Clean and dry the finish. Spray a concealed area and inspect for softening, colour change or adhesion problems.
- 02
Mask and ventilate
Protect nearby surfaces and use a well-ventilated application area.
- 03
Apply light passes
Shake the can and build a uniform layer without flooding corners.
- 04
Dry and inspect
Allow the coating to dry before handling. Check clarity, gloss and the peel-off behaviour on the actual finish.
- 05
Remove when required
Lift an edge carefully and peel without scraping or pulling a weak underlying coating.
Clean and dry the finished surface and test a concealed area. Apply light, even passes with adequate ventilation, then allow the coating to dry before use. Check gloss, colour and peel behaviour on the actual furniture finish. Follow the aerosol handling information on the supplied product.

Frequently asked questions
Will the coating look identical on every finish?
The visual result depends on the original colour, gloss and texture. Evaluate a coated sample under the intended lighting.
Can this be used on bare absorbent wood?
Unsealed wood can absorb a liquid coating and alter removal. Test the actual surface and discuss sealing requirements before use.
Is the selected version water-based?
No. This specification uses the solvent-based modified-alkyd version.
Does clear mean invisible?
A clear layer can still alter gloss and the depth of colour. The selected finish is semi-matt, so approve a sample on the actual furniture.
How is it packed?
The listed standard is a 450 ml can, 24 cans per carton, with a three-year shelf life.
