Surfaces & applications

Finished furniture, compatible wood coatings, glass, metal and selected smooth surfaces during handling, storage or renovation.

Liquid protection for workshop-scale work

The product is a flexible removable coating for compatible furniture, finished wood and other manufactured surfaces. Bucket sizes of 1, 5, 10 and 20 kg allow the quantity to be matched to a trial, an occasional job or repeated workshop application. Roller and brush methods suit accessible panels; spraying and dipping can be considered for production arrangements and shaped components.

Select the surface, then the protection period

The described surface range includes finished wood, metal doors, uPVC and aluminium frames, steel sheets, stainless steel, glass, tiles, acrylic and compatible plastic panels. For furniture, the original lacquer or decorative finish is especially important. Include the actual storage duration, packing contact and handling sequence in the trial rather than testing only freshly applied film.

Use one consistent coverage reference

The technical application reference is approximately 8 m²/kg at a wet-film thickness of 0.1 mm. Consumption will change with roughness, contours, equipment losses and the layer needed for continuous peeling. Record practical use on a representative item and use that figure for the order calculation. This helps avoid relying on the smooth-panel estimate for a complex furniture item.

Drying and removal in a workshop

Apply in a dry, ventilated environment and avoid temperatures below 10°C. Surface drying is approximately 20–30 minutes and film formation approximately 40–60 minutes at room temperature. Warming up to 50°C can assist the process where the substrate permits it. After the protection period, peel the film and inspect the original finish for residue, colour and gloss changes.

Application process

Protection through the complete cycle

  1. 01

    Check the finish

Identify the lacquer, coating or laminate and test an inconspicuous area.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Remove dust and grease and ensure that the surface is dry.

  3. 03

    Apply

Use the selected method for an even layer; spraying requires the stated minimum 2 mm nozzle.

  4. 04

    Dry

Allow the reference 20–30 minutes to surface dry and 40–60 minutes for film formation, extending the process where conditions require.

  5. 05

    Pack, protect and remove

Follow the tested storage and packing sequence, then peel and inspect.

Stir and apply an even layer to the prepared surface. Allow sufficient drying before handling or packing, including edges and recesses. Test the film after the planned protection period rather than judging it immediately after application. Check colour and gloss of the original furniture finish after removal.

Practical answers

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the bucket format?

It suits repeated workshop use and larger areas. The aerosol product offers a different application format for smaller jobs.

Can the same drying time be used in a cold, humid workshop?

Drying depends on temperature, ventilation and thickness. Allow the film to form fully before handling and evaluate the actual workshop conditions.

Which coverage figure is used for this product?

The application reference is approximately 8 m²/kg at a wet-film thickness of 0.1 mm. Practical coverage depends on the item and method.

Can it be applied in a cold workshop?

Application below 10°C is discouraged because film formation is affected. Use suitable dry, ventilated conditions.

What sizes are available?

The listed bucket sizes are 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg.
