Blue bottle of peelable protective coating
Tuffy Peelable Blue Protective Coatings
Peelable Blue Insulating and Moisture-Resistant Coating
A single-component peelable coating for selected electronic and smooth-surface protection applications. It forms a flexible layer that supports moisture-protection and insulation requirements while allowing removal where rework is needed.

Surfaces & applications
LCD modules, ITO-related surfaces, PCB and FPC assemblies, cover panels and selected glass or plastic components.
Protection across electronic and glass surfaces
The product is described for PCB, FPC, cover panels, touchscreen glass, industrial glass, plastics, metal parts and electronic components. Display-related applications include LCM structures and selected ACF connection areas. These applications share a need for controlled coverage, but the coating boundary and required electrical performance remain specific to the assembly.

A flexible temporary film
The single-component material cures naturally into a peelable film. The blue or black appearance provides a visible indication of coverage, and the film is described for moisture, contamination and light scratch protection. Its acid- and alkali-resistance description should be considered against the actual contact conditions rather than treated as unrestricted chemical compatibility.
Choosing the package and colour
The available packages are 50 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml. Select a size that fits consumption and material handling on the line. Blue can make the coated area readily visible; black may be selected where that appearance is required. Keep the original product and batch identification with any working container and avoid mixing different products simply because they share the name peelable blue glue.

Removal during repair or later processing
Before routine use, apply the product to a representative component and assess coverage, cure, assembly function and removal. Include flexible interconnects, nearby adhesives and component edges in the trial. Peeling should leave the required functional areas accessible without pulling fragile parts or transferring unwanted residue to contacts.

Application process
Protection through the complete cycle
- 01
Identify restricted areas
Mark connectors, contacts, optical regions and other surfaces that must remain uncoated.
- 02
Prepare the surface
Use a suitable cleaning process and dry the component.
- 03
Apply evenly
Place a controlled layer over the defined area without flooding neighbouring structures.
- 04
Allow natural curing
Protect the part from contamination while the film forms and verify readiness before handling.
- 05
Check function and removal
Confirm the assembly's required performance and the planned peel-off procedure.
Define the coating area, clean the component and apply a controlled film. Allow the material to cure before assembly handling. Check the complete assembly for insulation requirements, contact compatibility and removal behaviour; keep functional connections clear where required.

Frequently asked questions
Can it be used on every electronic contact?
Contact surfaces and connectors have specific functional requirements. Define protected and uncoated areas before a trial.
What should be checked after removing the film?
Inspect for residue, surface change and any effect on the assembly’s electrical or mechanical function.
Is this a two-part material?
No. It is described as a single-component coating that cures naturally.
Are both blue and black available?
Yes. Blue and black liquid versions are listed, with 50 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml packaging.
Is it limited to LCD modules?
No. The application list also includes PCB, FPC, cover panels, industrial glass, compatible plastics and metal parts. Each use still requires the appropriate compatibility and process check.
