Match the pack format to the work
Clear spray film can suit smaller surfaces and occasional work. Bucket coatings support larger areas or repeated workshop application. Shipping-protection coating can be evaluated with the packing and transport cycle.
Keep the original finish central
Furniture coatings, varnishes and decorative laminates can react differently to a protective film. Check appearance, adhesion and removal after the expected protection period. A surface coating complements cushioning and corner protection where these are needed.

Compare small-batch and repeated production
A 450 ml clear spray format can suit a few tabletop or furniture areas, while 1–20 kg liquid packs can support repeated workshop coating. TCBV64-3 shipping protection adds a separate 20 kg option with declared tensile, elongation and peeling data. Compare the format against the item dimensions, application frequency and time between finishing, coating and packing.
Run the trial with the actual wrapping material
Apply the selected film to the same lacquer, paint or laminate used in production. After the appropriate drying stage, pack the sample with the intended foam, sheet, wrap or spacer and apply representative contact pressure. Include the storage period and unpacking sequence. Check both the temporary film and the original finish after peeling, including flat areas, corners and recesses.
Control workshop drying
For the liquid furniture product, the reference is 20–30 minutes to surface dry and 40–60 minutes to film formation, with assisted drying no higher than 50°C. Avoid application below 10°C. A touch-dry surface may still behave differently under wrapping pressure, so packing readiness should be demonstrated in the trial. The aerosol is a solvent-based modified-alkyd coating and must be assessed separately from the water-based liquid.
Define a repeat-order record
Keep the original furniture finish, coating grade, colour or clarity, pack size, application settings and packing interval together. Include the customer-facing removal instructions for the selected film and identify who removes it. Check the first items from a repeat order against the approved sample, especially if the underlying furniture finish or packing material has changed.
Application Questions
Does transparency remove the need for an appearance trial?
No. Clear films can alter gloss while present, and the original finish needs inspection after removal.
What should change when a new wrapping material is introduced?
Repeat the packing-contact portion of the trial with the new material, pressure and storage period before relying on the earlier result.
