Water-Washable Vehicle Color-Changing Coatings
Peelable Wheel Color Spray Coating
A peelable aerosol coating for temporary wheel colour changes. The sprayed layer dries into a removable film, giving automotive workshops and accessory retailers a different option from water-washable body paint.

Surfaces & applications
Compatible wheel finishes, decorative wheel colour trials and selected vehicle trim surfaces after compatibility testing.
A removable wheel colour layer
The coating forms a flexible coloured skin over a compatible wheel finish. It allows a temporary decorative change while retaining a peel-off removal route. The application material is packaged in a 450 ml aerosol, making it practical for trial work, individual wheels and workshop use without a separate mixing or spray setup.

Coverage must support peeling
A very thin or uneven film can break into small pieces during removal. Build coverage with successive light coats, maintaining access around spoke details and the wheel rim. Keep the can approximately 15–20 cm from the work and allow 10–20 minutes of air drying before a further coat. Inspect difficult angles rather than judging coverage only from the front of the wheel.
Keep the decorative job within its boundary
Mask tyres, braking components, mounting interfaces and other functional areas outside the coating scope. Although related decorative uses include motorcycles, bicycle parts and selected trim, each original finish requires compatibility testing. The coating is a decorative and surface-protection material; its listed film parameters do not establish structural or braking-component performance.

Application process
Plan the finish and the removal
- 01
Clean and dry
Remove road dirt, grease and other contamination from the wheel finish.
- 02
Mask functional areas
Protect brake components and all areas that must remain uncoated.
- 03
Shake and spray
Shake thoroughly and apply the first controlled coat from 15–20 cm.
- 04
Build the film
Air-dry for 10–20 minutes, then add the next light coat for continuous coverage. Allow the completed film to dry before handling.
- 05
Peel after use
Lift an accessible edge and peel steadily. Inspect recesses and avoid sharp tools against the original finish.
Clean and dry the wheel, then mask the tyre, brake components and other areas outside the work. Shake the can and build the coating with even passes. Allow drying between coats and before use. Follow the coating instructions for film build because a very thin layer may be difficult to remove cleanly.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as water-washable vehicle paint?
No. The intended removal method is peeling the dried film from the surface.
Can I coat brake parts?
Keep braking surfaces and functional components outside the coating area. This product page concerns decorative wheel and compatible trim finishes.
Why use several coats?
Several controlled passes help produce a continuous removable film and reduce local runs. A sparse film can be harder to lift in one piece.
Can this be used on bicycle or motorcycle parts?
Selected decorative surfaces can be assessed, but the substrate and existing finish must be tested and functional areas kept clear.
