Select the removal method first
Water-washable body coatings are chosen for water-assisted removal. Peelable wheel coating is chosen for a lift-and-peel process. Match that distinction to the event, display or decorative project and the available removal method.
Check paint condition and exposure
Use a sound, compatible original finish and test an inconspicuous area. Include rain, washing, heat and display duration in the assessment. Keep the coating away from vehicle areas outside the specified application.

Plan a temporary display
For a temporary body-colour project, decide whether the vehicle will remain indoors or encounter rain and washing. Select the colour and removal method before calculating material. Full-body liquid, temporary aerosol and bucket paint use water-assisted removal; wheel film is removed by peeling. A display that must remain intact through regular washing needs a different discussion from a short event with planned water removal.
Choose the working format
Use the full-body liquid where the application equipment and area suit liquid handling. Temporary aerosol can support smaller areas and trial panels; the 5 kg bucket format supports larger repeated work. Wheel spray comes in a 450 ml format. The temporary aerosol and bucket products call for two or more coats with a 2–4-hour interval, so include recoating and protected drying space in the event schedule.
Control edges and overspray
Inspect the original finish and make a compatibility trial before broad application. Define the panel boundaries and protect glazing, trim, seals and nearby surfaces outside the job. For wheels, exclude braking components and functional contact surfaces. Apply consistently at the distance specified for the chosen aerosol and avoid a heavy build at edges. Check the dried appearance before proceeding around the whole vehicle.
Removal and handover
Provide a removal demonstration on the trial panel using the method available at the end of the event. For washable paint, use water or the specified wet-wiping process; for wheel film, lift an accessible edge and peel. Inspect the original finish in good light and record any residue. Include the desired colour, body or wheel finish, area and planned exposure in the enquiry.
Application Questions
Can the same removal process be used on body paint and wheel film?
Use water-assisted removal for the washable body products and peeling for the wheel film. Confirm the selected method on the actual finish.
What helps estimate an event order?
Provide panel area, colour contrast, number of coats and the chosen pack format. Include application losses and the time available between coats.
